Sales Project Manager

Job Overview
The Sales Project Manager supports the sales team by managing and creating a work flow for all carpet installation projects and to act as a liaison between our clients sales team and vendors. This position will also work closely with the sales team to identify and nurture new opportunities both with existing and new clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist with the preparation of sales proposals and quotes.
• Work with sales team on pricing.
• Coordinate design specifications with development team.
• Prepare purchase orders for vendors.
• Facilitate client approvals of samples and strike-offs
• Arrange for both domestic and international shipping of products.
• Schedule delivery and labor for timely installations.
• Organize sales presentations for sales team.
• Update customer relationship management software as new clients and contacts are added.
• Communicate daily with sales team, vendors and clients on status and timing of projects.

Qualifications
• Prior experience in the design industry, preferably.
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
• Excellent organization and administrative skills.
• Understanding of time management between multiple parties.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
• History completing projects according to outlined scope and timeline.
• Familiarity with web based customer relationship management software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.

Showroom and Sample Coordinator

Job Overview
The Assistant Showroom Coordinator handles all shipping and receiving functions, maintains the showroom appearance, manages the sample inventory, assists wherever is needed and provides general backup for all showroom duties.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Inventory all showroom samples as they come in from mills
• Prepare and print shipping labels
• Label and input all samples into barcode system
• Oversee showroom rug inventory including rugs that are loaned and/or sold
• Assemble and fill boxes and other packaging with items needing to be shipped
• Affix proper postage to each package in preparation of shipping
• Contact carriers and schedule pickups for all packages
• Process orders based on the buyers preferred shipping method
• Track inventory and report any shortages to sales team
• Scan out and in of bar codes for samples sent to clients
• Put away samples when returned
• Maintain a clean and organized appearance in the showroom includingand a clean and safe workplace

Qualifications
• Excellent organization and administrative skills
• Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
• Ability to problem solve and prioritize daily tasks
• Personal accountability and integrity, as position is tasked with an accurate accounting of all sample inventory
• Ability to lift items and containers
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs.
• Knowledge of web-based 3rd party vendor shipping sites
• Relevant customer service experience
• A high school qualification or equivalent
